0    Prof Mehan is product of : Indian Universities ;Harvard            Business School & NTL (USA) ; and Japan Productivity        Centre (Tokyo). After his post-graduation in India, he        obtained one year advanced Post-graduate        specialisation in OD & Organisation Behaviour at Harvard        Business School. Is Certified Management Consultant &        Trainer from Japan (Attended 8 months "Advanced        International Training Programme for Practising        Management Consultants" in Tokyo as Fellow of the APO        & as India's country-nominee). In his early career,worked        as Under-study (and then co-faculty / co-consultant) to        Ford Foundation & ILO experts for challenging consulting        & training assignments.

0    Before founding his independent consulting firm (Mehan & Associates) in 1976,       he was at NITIE (India's prestigious National Institute for Industrial Engineering &       Management), Bombay as Senior Professor of Organisational Behaviour &       Organisation Development and Chairman (NITIE's Consultancy  services & in-         company Management programmes).
      
0    Was decorated in 1967 by Central Japan Instt of Industrial Management for         " notable contribution to productivity movement " - second Indian recipient of this          award.
0    He surveyed the application of modern management techniques in West European       industry.
0    He is Past President of the Asia Chapter of International Federation of       Management Consultants.
0    Over the last 40 years, he has handled many challenging Management       Consultancy and Training assignments for large & medium sized industries in       various countries.In addition to India, these have been particularly in Malaysia,       Singapore, Thailand & Indonesia including long-term, intensive work for the "Royal       Dutch SHELL  Group of companies in Malaysia" & PETRONAS (Petroleum       Nasional Bhd), Aditya Birla Group, Indorama Group, P T South Pacific Viscose,       P T Ispat Indo and other well-known groups of Western and Eastern origin. He is       a frequent visitor  to South East Asian region, for professional services to clients.
0    He has also done Management Development / Training assignments in : the       US (Harvard Business School) ; Germany (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung), Japan       (Japan Productivity Centre); South East Asia (As APO Specialist).
